There are several Committees establish school boards in Québec that have an advisory role for the Council.

The Parent Committee and Special Education Advisory Committee are committees with parent representation that advise the Council on various matters as outlined in the Education Act.

There are also Committees of Council that act in an advisory role, composed of commissioners. They include the Governance Committee and Transportation Committee.

The Resource Allocation Committee is composed of Principals and Seiors Directors who provide reccommendations on spending and allocation of resources to the Council.
