As a long -time employee of the Western Québec School Board, I have come to deeply appreciate the incredible people who make up our organization.
The strength of WQSB lies not only in what we do in our schools and classrooms with students, but also in how we support one another : with respect, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.
This page is more than just a resource, as it also serves as a reflection of our values and ongoing efforts to create a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

All new hires to WQSB are required to have a Criminal Record Check prior to starting employment.

New teachers please contact HRteachers@wqsb.qc.ca to complete your salary classification, please send your academic and teaching experience documents promptly. Refer to the Salary Classification Letter for instructions.
In Québec, teaching in schools or vocational training requires a licence issued under the Regulation respecting teaching licences. Please visit the Quiz on Becoming a Teacher or contact titularisation@education.gouv.qc.ca to confirm your status.
